Favorite Technique: antiquing
My most favorite technique would be two-fold. I love to make things look old ~ like they have had this wonderful history. Like this piece was found in an attic somewhere and you can just imagine the story behind. I can only achieve this by using stamps and/ or molds - they aid me in adding just the right touch. A crack here or a date there. Maybe a partial image. I put this all together and give it an antiquing or patina rub using acrylics and the effect to me is magical.

Favorite Technique: caning
I love making geometric canes and putting the pieces together. It's always a surprise. I love surprises. It's possible I came up with a new technique here. Maybe, maybe not but let's just say I made this cane with only two colors.

Favorite Technique: sculpted elements
I like to sculpt and form things from polymer clay, there is so much you can do - the only limit for me is size, as I mainly make beads for my stitch markers and shawl pins, on such a small scale it is difficult to add a lot of details.

DreamWeaversDesigns' Inspiration
I get the desire to create when I look at all the beautiful pieces of art I see, made by other clayers of course. When I look at colorful necklaces, other pieces of jewelry, or even non jewelry items like boxes, masks, etc..I just want to get the clay out and start working!!!!! Unfortunately, the images in my head don't always look the same in real life.

RubyShoesSam's Inspiration
My inspiration? I see things I like and tell myself "how lovely that would be made from polymer clay! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
