Favorite Technique: faux jade

My favorite technique at this moment has to be faux jade. It's fun to see the results of mixing alcohol inks, embossing powders and different brands of translucent clay together. And the "moonies" that are typically something to avoid with translucents, is very much wanted with this technique! And the best part is, you don't have to stick to the usual "green" jade, although it is still pretty and I used it quite a bit.
I've used it to create various pieces, including three that are listed at my Artfire studio, and two that I created as Christmas gifts this past season.

Wow, that is the best faux jade I've seen yet. The translucency is great as well as the shade of green. Great work, love your little birds and statues!
